Volunteer with Lawyers in Schools

The Lawyers in Schools programme matches lawyers with students from local schools and provides them with the opportunity to volunteer in the classroom to deliver a one-off session looking at the legal system.

Lawyers use their skills and knowledge to facilitate the session which aims to develop young people’s legal capability and give students the knowledge, skills and confidence that they need to navigate the legal system.

We are currently recruiting legal professionals in the Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire areas who are interested in supporting public legal education in their local school. Sessions are aimed at classes of 13-16 year olds and generally last one hour.

How can you get involved?
